The painting depicts a dreamlike landscape made up of different layers and unusual combinations of forms. In the lower left corner, a woman is shown from behind, pointing at something in front of her. Her hair, rendered in green and blue, flows downward like drops and appears almost unreal, as if it were slowly dissolving. Three playing cards float in front of her, each showing a red face (portraits of the artist herself). They appear threatening, tormented, or exhausted. The cards bear the symbols of a heart, spade, and club. Instead of numbers, they carry the letters F,M and L (Fuck My Life). In the lower half of the image, grass grows upward, from which arrows and circles emerge. The frame on the left side bends slightly inward, making it appear somewhat out of order as well.
The different layers and the realistic yet simultaneously unreal forms evoke the logic of a dream. The work was created during a period when the artist was dreaming particularly often and represents a landscape of her inner experience.
The three floating playing cards stand for different possibilities, decisions, or paths in life. The woman has to choose one of them, yet none of the cards appears truly positive. This creates the impression that every decision comes with a certain price. “FML” reinforces the frustrated yet selfironic character of the situation. The dissolving hair can also be understood as a symbol. It suggests that, faced with so many possibilities, the figure may slowly be losing control or a part of her own identity. The arrows and circles in the grass evoke thoughts, directions, and recurring thought patterns.

Overall, the work deals with decisions and the feeling of being overwhelmed. The three cards represent different possible paths, yet in each possibility, the artist ultimately encounters herself. The artwork is therefore less about finding the right card and more about the feeling that every decision can transform us into a different version of ourselves.
