At the center of the image is a large water lily floating on an abstract pond, while a mosslike pattern spreads across the black background. Neon colors are used selectively, creating artificial, glowing accents. Alongside the mist of cleaning product, glitter particles emerge from a spray bottle. The partially transparent gloves allow the pattern of the background to show through.
The work addresses the constant human intervention in nature. Humans try to control, organize, and keep their environment clean, while simultaneously interfering with natural cycles. Chemical cleaning products can pollute the environment, while cities and human structures continue to expand further into natural habitats.
At the same time, this raises a paradoxical question: Can humans really “clean” nature without changing or damaging it in the process? The glitter coming from the spray bottle reinforces this contradiction. At first, it appears beautiful and harmless, but it is also artificial and potentially harmful.
The transparent gloves create a connection between humans and nature: the hands intervene in the natural environment while simultaneously being permeated by it. This makes it clear that although humans try to control nature, they themselves remain inseparably connected to it. In the context of the image, the title “Human Cleans Nature” takes on an ironic and critical meaning.
